Build Your Future 2010
Building on the huge success of the ‘Build your Future’ events in 2008 and 2009 Build Norfolk, supported by Connexions Norfolk, is arranging another interactive careers event for young people, their teachers and parents who are interested in finding out about the wide range of professional, technical and management careers in the built environment.
Monday 18th October 2010 in the Committee Suite at County Hall in Norwich from 4pm to 8pm. This event is suitable for students in years 8 to 13 and we shall be arranging a school trip for students who wish to attend.
As the built environment becomes ever more sophisticated, particularly in terms of managing its environmental impact, the industry needs to recruit the right students to ensure that there is sufficient capacity and capability to maintain the ever increasing demands of the industry.
There are opportunities for all students who are expected to achieve at least Level 2 /5 GCSE’s A-C by age 16. Come long to find out what sort of jobs are available for students who are interested in any of the following subjects: Maths, ICT, Science, Design, Law and Business Studies.
You can download the Build Your Future flyer here. It contains more information about the event.
